Hi, I’m Rachel.

Senior UX designer with ten years of experience on complex, process-heavy products.

I’ve designed financial tools at Amazon, ads at Google, pharmacy flows at CVS Health, HR tools at Microsoft, and wholesale commerce at NHN. I like learning a new domain and staying with the work from the first question to launch.

How I work

I picked up a bit of everything.

I’ve worked across the whole process, from research and flows to visuals and prototyping. Each role taught me to see the work through someone else’s eyes, and I bring that to users and to the people I build with.

Off duty

Tori, music, and makeup.

Tori, my chihuahua mix, joined the party in 2016. She’s stubborn, a little mischievous, and afraid of exactly one person in our house: me.

No vices needed, just a good speaker, a good pair of headphones, and a fresh set of brushes and shadow palettes. Outside work, I’m drawn to things where many parts work as one, the kind people keep coming back to. A song is never just a song; it’s the sound, the lyrics, the world around it, the styling. (By the way, an old game soundtrack is what got me building this site again.) Makeup is a craft too: color, technique, and a final look made with care, so someone leaves feeling good. UX is where I put that instinct to work, and I’d like to keep doing it on products people love using.

The full story is better told in person.
